Lots of Oatmeal Cookies

    ---
    3 lb. brown sugar
    1 1/2 lb. margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    1 oz. baking soda
    5 eggs
    1 lb. ground raisins or dates
    1 1/2 lb. rolled oats
    2 lb. 12 oz. all-purpose flour
    2 cups milk
    ---
    Cream brown sugar, margarine gradually add eggs, stir in salt and
    baking soda to mix well.. Add remaining ingredients. Combine well but don't over mix.
    Drop by spoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at
    350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes dozens.
