Banana-Sour Cream Bars

    Make this on a jelly roll pan and get  6 doz. bars.

    1 c Dairy sour cream
    1 1/2 c Sugar
    1/2 c Margarine or butter, Softened
    2 Eggs
    1 1/2 c Mashed bananas (about 3 lrg)
    2 tsp Vanilla
    2 c All purpose flour
    1  ts Salt
    1 tsp Baking soda
    1/2 c Chopped nuts
    ---
     Heat oven to 375. Mix sugar, sour cream, margarine and egg in large mixing bowl on
    low speed, scraping bowl occasionally, 1 min. Beat in bananas and vanilla on
    low 30 sec. Beat in flour, salt & baking soda on med., scraping sides. Stir in nuts.
    Spread in greased and floured jelly roll pan, 15-1/2 x 10-1/2 x 1 inch. Bake until light
    brown. 20 to 25 min. Cool. Frost with Vanilla glaze. Cut into bars, 2 x 1. About 6 doz.

    Vanilla Glaze,
    Mix:
     2 C powdered sugar;
    1/4 C marg. or butter, softened;
     1-1/2 ts. vanilla
    2 Tbsp.. hot water.
    Stir in 1-2 teaspoons additional hot water until smooth and of desired consistency.
