White Chocolate Macadamia Brownies

    I'll lick the bowl!
    ---
           5 ounces of white chocolate
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1/4 pound butter melted
     2    eggs
     1 c.    sugar
1 cup flour, combined with a pinch of salt
     5 ounces of macadamia nuts
    ---

Preheat oven to 350 F. Butter and flour an 8" baking pan. Melt the white chocolate in a
bowl placed in a pot of barely simmering water. Remove from the heat and add the
melted butter and vanilla and mix well.
Mix the flour and nuts until they are evenly dispersed. In a mixing bowl, cream the eggs
and sugar until it is thick enough to form ribbons. Gently fold in the melted chocolate
mixture until incorporated. Fold in the flour and nut mixture and pour into the
prepared baking pan. Bake in the preheated oven at 350 F until a toothpick inserted in
the center comes out clean (about 25 minutes). Remove from the oven. Cool and cut into
squares.  These can be drizzled with both white and dark chocolate before cutting.

Tip: sub coarsely chopped almonds for the macadamia nuts, if unavailable.
