Oreo Cookie Freeze


     

    28 oreos
    1/4 c. margarine or butter melted
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
    1/2 c. chocolate liquor (optional)
    1c. sugar
    4 oz. evaporated. milk
    4 squares semi sweet chocolate
    1 stick margarine
    12 oz. cool whip
    1c. sliced almonds or other garnish

     Directions: Crush oreos and mix with 1/4c. melted margarine. Spread in 9x13 pan and freeze. Soften ice cream and blend in liquor, pour into frozen
    pan with the oreos. Put it back in the freezer until very firm. In a med. saucepan add sugar, evap. milk, stick of margarine and chocolate. Bring to a boil for 1 min. Cool and pour over the ice cream and refreeze. Decorate with cool whip and almonds.
