Views and Landmarks
This odd landmark to the east of Kelowna is incredible to look
It reminds me of an old pile of baled hay, all cubed and layered.
This is looking toward the West, however at the time this was
taken (Aug. /98) forest fires in the area created a smoky haze
throughout the Valley. You can just catch a glimpse of
Gallaghers Canyon Golf Course in the distance.
The Harvest Golf Club, one of MANY golf courses in
Kelowna, can claim to have the best view of all!
May brings out these wonderful daisies, they suddenly appear carpeting
the hillsides and are scattered in bright colorful patches thought
light pine forests, an Okanagan signature!
Looking West...next stop Vancouver
Looking West over Kelowna, B.C., with hotels and condos in the
on the lake shore. Houses in the pine forest on the West
side of the lake.
The far mountain on the very left of the photo, is towards the
up and over you go, Vancouver 250 miles away!
stop now, more great photos below
