Fresh Lemonade

         
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    1/2 cup boiling water
    1 tablespoon freshly grated lemon peel
    1 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
    ---
    Dissolve sugar in boiling water. Add lemon peel and juice.
    Store in covered container in refrigerator.
    Use 1/4 to 1/3 cup of lemonade syrup base to 3/4 cup of
    cold water per glass of lemonade.
